TERMS & CONDITIONS *

No smoking or vaping inside the premises. Do not affix decorations or notices to the walls of the Venue in any way using adhesive tapes, blue tack, glue, drawing pins or nails. Any damages observed to the interior and/or exterior of the Venue (e.g. vandalism, graffiti, burst pipes, etc) must be reported, immediately and the cost of replacement is the responsibility of the hirer. Payment is due the 20th of the following month. FOOD & DRINK No meals are to be served in Te Whare Hononga, Kāhu Conference Roomor Kōtuku Boardroom. The Wharekai (Vicarage dining area) is to be used for meals for all events. No alcohol to be brought into the premises without prior agreement and confirmation of appropriate licenses. No alcohol is to be consumed outside the premises. No alcohol in Te Whare Hononga. No alcohol to be sold. CLEANING The Venue must be returned to its original condition (i.e. clean and tidy) after each Event/Activity which shall include (but is not limited to): - All chairs and/or tables returned to where you found them - All foodstuffs and rubbish removed from the site, not left in our bins - All tables and kitchen benchtops wiped clean - Ensure that the Venue is left secure (windows closed and doors locked) - Ensure that all appliances and lights are switched off and all taps turned off HEALTH & SAFETY The maximum number of persons specified for the Venue is not to be exceeded for fire and emergency reasons. The Hirer shall appoint a fire warden whose key responsibilities are to ensure that all fire exits are always kept clear of obstructions and if a fire alarm sounds, all people are evacuated from the Venue. Unless we are notified otherwise, the person who checks this Agreement will be the Hirer’s nominated fire warden, and where there are more than 100 persons attending the Event/Activity, the Hirer must appoint additional fire wardens (i.e. 1 warden for up to 100 persons, 2 wardens for 101 ‐ 200 persons, etc).
